Terms of Service

1. The service

Public Access is a Home Assistant integration that publishes one dashboard of your own Home Assistant instance publicly, read-only, together with a license service that validates subscription keys and delivers renderer updates. The service is operated by Filippo Daelli, Italy ("we").

2. Trial and subscription

A free trial key is issued once per email address and works on one Home Assistant instance; the trial period starts when the key is first activated. Subscriptions are sold and billed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which is the seller of record for VAT and invoicing purposes. A subscription renews monthly until cancelled; when a trial or subscription ends, the public page shows an "unavailable" notice. Nothing on your instance is deleted.

3. Your responsibilities

You decide what you publish. In mirror and snapshot modes the published view is shown as it is, including any third-party content, cameras or personal information you place on it. You are responsible for the content of the dashboard you choose to make public and for complying with the laws that apply to you.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to publish content that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that attempts to circumvent the license checks. One license covers one Home Assistant instance.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the license service available, and the integration is designed to keep your page working through outages on our side. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; if we discontinue the service, active subscriptions are refunded pro rata.

6. License of the software

The integration source is provided under the PolyForm Shield 1.0.0 license. The renderer payload is provided to active subscribers for use with the integration and may not be redistributed.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use, including from content you choose to publish. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
